Healthbolt Breaks Into Technorati’s Top 2000: Does Giveaway

I’m very excited. Healthbolt.net broke into Technorati’s Top 2000 blogs today. This might be fleeting, so who knows what that link will show in the future. Right now, though, it’s showing us as the number 1,996th blog on the internet. A small victory for sure, but…
It was my goal to do this within the first year and it’s only been 8 months since Healthbolt.net’s first post. I could go on-and-on about the ups and downs I’ve had personally and professionally over that time and how they relate to blogging, but I’d rather just hit you with some numbers and then I’ll get to the giveaway…

It’s been a load of work, a lot of fun and a great learning experience, which is why I got into it, so that’s good. The reason I’ve had so much fun and learned so much (and worked so hard) is because of you guys who read this stuff and leave comments…
So, I’m giving away an Ironman Triathlon 30-Lap Watch. This is the same watch I wear, and it’s the best watch I’ve ever owned. It’s tough as nails, has a truckload of features and they’re easy to use.
Leave a comment in this thread to get entered, I’ll draw and announce a winner on Friday. I’ll pay to have it shipped out on Saturday.
Thanks for reading and commenting. Remember to send me tips using the link in the upper right, and please take our reader’s survey if you haven’t yet.

Yes, another lurker here. Can’t remember how I found Healthbolt — but around the baby steps to 5K post… or perhaps it was the ‘what happens when you stop smoking’ post (which I naggingly forwarded to some smokers…). Either way, keep up the good work!

I’d love to win the watch. It will sure come in handy for my half marathon training starting next week.
You site provides great information that I share with my family. I am a health nut, and I pass on a lot of your articles to family when I try to inform them about something - like what happens to your body when you drink a coke.

I’ve been reading since you advertised on the D2 forums. I’m not really interested in health stuff, but there are some interesting articles.

Just like healthbolt, the watch is very functional, easy to use and full of good information. I’ve owned an Ironman watch for 15 years and could stand a replacement.

I’ve followed your blog for quite a while. Very helpful and inspirational stuff!
I’m wearing an Ironman as I type this. I found it on the side of the road many years ago. After all this time, it still works well! I’ve replaced the battery and band so many times, I’ve lost count.
But it is a bit scratched up. A new one would be nice!

Have been reading regularly–for a week. Appreciate your insights.
And, would love to replace my old Ironman watch, which died last month!
